Easter Pictures

Well this year we went to Kiddie Kandids to take some pictures in their easter clothes. They were really good, we were there for two hours and it took a while.
Savana was first and she was pretty good, but wanted to keep walking off the stage! We sat her down she would stand up. Just funny!
Kade was next and bless his heart he was really good, but I think he is just like his Dad, not very photogenic! He was trying to smile, but we would miss it or he would make a funny face. But he was pretty dang patient! We ended up getting a cute one of him don't you think!
Of course Porter was just fine. He's our photogenic poser! So he was just great. It was funny, he wanted to bench so he helped out the girl and put it up on the stage so he could sit on it. He's getting to big!
Then we did all three of them. Surprisingly it only took about 10 min, and we couldn't resist getting that one. Porter and Kade just love their little sister so they were laughing at her, and it turned out just too cute.
As for the two brothers, first we had them standing there hugging! Wow that worked out great, it was so forced especially through Kade's expression, but they were both happy to sit on the bench together so that one has to be the cutest pic I have of those two! They are three happy, healthy kids!

So we actually took the plunge and bought our first house! The kids are still excited about it. So I started the pics off with their cute faces on my bench on the front porch.

Kids were very excited to move. They are sitting on my bench on the front porch.

We Love Christmas!

Well, since we just started this blog, I guess we'll start with our favorite time of year, and it just so happens the Holidays just passed us by! I love to get the kids dressed up and do a pic in front of our tree. I do this every year. We had a great Holiday this year! We enjoyed watching the kids on Christmas morning and enjoyed spending time with family.

On Christmas Eve we went to Bobi's parents house for dinner, bingo, story time, and nativity. We had dinner first which my Dad does make great homemade soup in yummy bread bowls. Then they put together a Christmas Bingo game for the kids, that was great, they both enjoyed that. Especially being able to open some gifts!

(Can you tell we were excited for a
girl, we only had 3 Christmas Dresses)
Afterwards we put on the Nativity as found in Luke the story of our Savior being born. Quinn and I were Joseph and Mary and Savana was baby Jesus. Porter and Kade dressed up as a Shepherd and a wise man. Savana wasn't feeling good and I think we scared her with all or our costumes on. But we are trying to teach the kids the true meaning of Christmas and we got the idea from President Eyring from the Christmas Address from the 1st Presidency, so we are now starting that tradition in our family, it was quite fun!

Afterwards my Dad printed up twas the night before Christmas stories, but all of them related to each one of us. We laughed a bunch it was quite funny. Quinn's was about being in a lab, Bobi's was about breastfeeding (which was so funny I couldn't contain my laughter I was crying), our brother-in-law's was about a redneck Christmas, (also very funny, sounded like Jeff Foxworthy), my sister's was about a do getting into everything which is her dumb beagle, and Mom's was about black jack since she loves to play black jack in the casino. But they were all a lot of fun!

Afterwards, Grandpa read Twas the Night Before Christmas to the kids, and they heard Santa's bells outside! They saw his footprints in the snow! Porter was so concerned that he needed to be in bed for Santa to come the the house! On the way home he said that we shouldn't have been gone at all and that he needed to be in bed! So Funny! All three of the kids were asleep before 10 min.! Which is a record by far! Especially Kade, he likes to lay there for a good 1 hour most nights, so it was nice. And Santa did find us okay!

Christmas day we had home made cinnamon rolls for breakfast. We all love Cinnamon rolls. Bobi's parents came over to see the kids with all of their stuff from Santa. Savana was running a fever and wasn't the happiest! But we still had a great time. Afterwards we went to Mom & Dad's again for gifts and lunch. Where Grandparents and friends came over for lunch as well.

All in All we had a great holiday! We hope you did as well.
